In my personal opinion the Trinity Church is a wonderful and very quiet place, I could see the building, its architecture, its vastness and is a beautiful place.
I had the opportunity to get to look inside and all the others but from the outside it looked great.
when I saw it from a distance I thought it was a museum-style building but then I got closer I realized it's more than that, it's a place where you can feel peace and can experience an incredible feeling.
I think this church is a symbol of love, brotherhood, peace above all for those who seek to approach God.
In my country there are churches in such density, but not of the same design is truly different in terms of architecture but symbolizes what equals about peace with himself. In the city of mexico are the Metropolitan Cathedral and the Basilica of Guadalupe both buildings are a symbol of the Catholic Church.
about my state it refers (Yucatan) is the cathedral of the capital is Merida and is one of the largest in the state and in the village where I live, is located the second largest of my state and is in honor of "Nuestra Señora de la Asuncion".
I agree with you about the sensations that we can feel in any Church we visit, also with the amazing gothic architecture and view that Trinity Church has. In my opinion the location of Trinity Church makes it more attractive and special, it changes the environment of Lower Manhattan.
ReplyDeleteMexico is one of the countries with the most large number of catholic church, the presence of different types and styles of Church's constructions are part of Mexican landscapes. As part of our culture we can find a catholic church in any place we visit, as we know Mexicans have a very strong symbolism with religious images and places. The Churches are smaller than the principal ones that you mentioned but from my point of view the propose and essence of each one is almost the same.
